Our Statement of Faith
  

1. About God:
We believe God is the Creator and Ruler  of the Universe. God is one, preexisted in three distinct persons. These three are co-equal: the Father, the Son,  the Holy Spirit

2. About the Bible:

We believe the Bible is God's inspired, authoritative word to us. Written by human authors as they were empowered by the Holy Spirit to write. The  bible is the supreme source of truth, inerrant, and infallible word of God.

3. About Jesus:
We believe in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin.  His sinless life and atoning sacrifice for the sin of all people by dying on a cross. After 3 days He bodily resurrected from the dead and is seated at the Father's right hand and will return again to the earth to reign with all power and glory.

4. About Holy Spirit:
We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He has a present ministry of convicting the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement. He brings glory to Christ  by making men aware of their need for Christ. The regeneration (new birth) by the Holy  Spirit is essential  for salvation of sinful man. He  indwells within every Christian from the moment of salvation.  He empowers the Christian to understand, live out, and share truth. Every believer has been graced by the Holy Spirit with atleast one spiritual gift.

5. About Mankind
We believe in the value and dignity of all people as God's created  image bearers but born in sin and spiritually dead and separated from God because of our sinful rebellion against God. We are justly guilty before God and deserving of His wrath and eternal separation from God in hell.

6.About Salvation:
Salvation is a free gift from God made available by grace through faith in Jesus shed blood for forgiveness of sin and eternal life. To be saved we must confess our sin, repent of sinful living, believe Jesus died and was raised for our sin,  accept  Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord by living under His Rule and Lordship.
 

7. About Eternity:
People are eternal beings created to exist forever. We believe in the resurrection from the dead of  both the saved and the lost. They that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. Meaning, we will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation.  To be eternally separated from God is punishment in Hell.  To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in heaven with the Lord.  Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.

8. About Family:
God ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption.  

9. About Marriage

 Marriage is the legal joining of one man and one woman in a life-long covenant relationship. God creates each person as either male or female, and these two distinct, complementary sexes
together reflect the image and nature of God
